Some of them are rigorous sports like Talappanthukali, Kutukutu and combats like Kayyankali and Attakalam. Archery is also a element of Onakalikal. Senior members have their share of excitement by playing indoor games like cards and chess. There is also a custom of swinging on Onam. An ornamented swing is swung on a high bough and young men and women take the enjoyment on it while playing conventional songs.
