Junput
Junput fish firm 40 km, from Digha; it also has a fine-looking sea coast. The place offer beautiful sea-view and lines of casuarina trees. The beach is unspoilt. Brackish water fish nurturing and examine are done here by the State Government Fisheries Department. For somewhere to stay there is an Inspection Bungalow under the Superintendent of Fisheries, Junput.
Mandarmani
It is a picnic Resort. 20 kms distance from Chaulkhola on Kolkata-Digha route.

New Digha
New Digha is an expansion of Digha. It too has numerous hotels. There is a little park with a lake here.
Its nearness to Calcutta (187 kms) draw tourists all through the year. Digha is a stiff beach where one can drive during little tide. The beach is though in front of the trouble of sea corrosion.

What to buy
Junk made of sea-shell, the reputed Madur of Midnapore in colourful design, and cashewnuts may be purchased at Digha.
Accommodation
Digha Tourist Lodge run by the West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation suggests relaxed housing. There are some lodges and cottages beneath the Digha Development Authority – Saikatabas, Tourist Cottages Aparajita and

Nabagitika, Malancha, Dormitories Chhayanat, Sanjojan, and for daytrippers – Kshanika. There are numerals of private hotels also.
