The zodiacal sign of Cancer commences on June 21st, but for seven days, being overlapped by the "cusp" of the previous sign, it does not come into full power until on or about June 28th. From this date onwards it is in full strength until July 20th and then for seven days gradually loses its strength on account of being overlapped by the "cusp" of the incoming sign "Leo".
This sign is symbolised by a crab and the ruling planet, the moon.
The cancerians have a fertile imagination and an emotional disposition with a tendency towards moodiness and introversion. Their inclination is towards an artistic medium and their minds are extremely retentive. Due to extreme sensitivity, there may be nervous irritability and at times, meaningless chatter which compensates for their general insecurity and shyness. They are sentimental but their personalities are extremely changeable, ranging from extreme warmth to secrecy which is often mistaken for coldness. Cancerians feel safe and secure surrounded by family and comforts of home though they sometimes go through their entire lives searching for it. They are industrious and hardworking in all they undertake, but from the standpoint of chance or luck they are seldom fortunate. With difficult aspects, they can be quick-tempered, irritable and dishonest.
LOVE LIFE
At heart they are romantic and of a very loving and affectionate disposition. Although of a deep affectionate disposition they are seldom demonstrative and are wrongly considered cold and un-emotional. In their home lives, however, they usually go through a great deal of trouble and are seldom surrounded by great happiness, no matter how successful they may appear in the eye of the world.

They are generally over-anxious in financial matters,
and make great efforts to gather in money.
As a rule they have usual ups and downs in their early life and it takes all their hard work to keep ahead but once they get on their feet they generally keep there. They are inclined to speculate, so as to make money quickly, but in all gambles they generally lose, whereas in business, they are as a rule most successful.

Cancerian is a psychic. He has his intuition. It tells him when and how to hit. He is timid, he shivers when committing a crime, but the iron is in his soul. He could murder you for two bucks and weep plentiful tears at your funeral. He is also capable of nagging you into suicide.
