LEO
The zodiacal sign of Leo commences on July 23rd, but for seven days, being overlapped by the "cusp" of the previous sign, it does not come into full power until on or about July 28th. From this date onwards it is in full strength until August 22nd and then for seven days gradually loses its strength on account of being overlapped by the "cusp" of the incoming sign "Virgo".

Represented by the lion, king of the jungle, Leos must be in control of their lives at all times. These people represent what might be termed the heart force of humanity. But Leo can also represent one of the most generous and magnanimous signs of the zodiac, capable of being wonderful hosts and hostesses. In addition to being constructive and inventive, Leos are good organisers, directors and 'ideas men' who leave the detailed and technical works to others. They radiate warmth, affection, kindness and a strong personal magnetism which makes them extremely popular. They enjoy being admired and praised for their accomplishments and desperately need the approval of others. Difficult aspects make them too demanding, too authoritative and too egoistic to concern themselves with the needs and opinions of others.
